Parents and Pupils

Information for Parents, Carers and Pupils

This section of the website provides helpful information for parents, carers, pupils and to everyone associated with the school.

Good communication between home and school is essential in helping ensure that pupils benefit as much as possible from their time at Moss Road.

Our staff and governors are determined to achieve excellent communication between the school, parents, carers and pupils.

An important step towards achieving this is to ensure that there are lots of different forms of home/school communication and that these ways are effective.

Please inform school immediately of any change to your contact details.

Communication at Moss Road takes place through:

School Newsletters

These letters are produced weekly, containing the latest news from Moss Road and other useful information.

School Prospectus

This document provides an overview of the school and how your child will be part of it; it is given to all parents and interested parties.

School Events

From the Christmas Fair to the nativity play, school events are a wonderful way to meet the Moss Road staff and other parents, and to learn more abut what goes on at school, as well as celebrating your child's achievements.

Regular Parents' Evenings

These are your opportunity to have a meeting with your child's teacher to discuss your child's progress.

Phone Calls To and From Home

We will contact you if anything urgent crops up during the school day. If there's anything that you think we need to know about, please call us.

School Reports

Your child will receive an annual report and you will have the opportunity to discuss its contents with the class teacher.

Letters Home

if you don't have an email account, a hard copy will be sent home with your child. There will also be occasions when all parents will receive a paper copy of a letter.
